Anti-CDCA3 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein cell division cycle associated 3. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 268 amino acid residues and a mass of 29 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the cytoplasm. CDCA3 is reported to be a F-box-like protein, which is required for entry into mitosis. Post-translational modifications have been described, including ubiquitination. Synonyms for this target antigen include gene-rich cluster protein C8, trigger of mitotic entry protein 1, and cell division cycle-associated protein 3.
