Anti-Sirtuin 6 antibodies are directed against the protein encoded by the gene SIRT6 in humans. The gene may also be known as SIR2L6, NAD-dependent protein deacetylase sirtuin-6, and SIR2-like protein 6. Structurally, the protein is reported to be 39.1 kilodaltons in mass. Based on gene name, fly, canine, porcine, monkey, mouse and rat orthologs may also be found.
