The gene may also be known as NFAT1, nuclear factor of activated T-cells 2, NFATP, nuclear factor of activated T-cells, cytoplasmic 2, and NF-ATc2. Structurally, the protein is reported to be 100.1 kilodaltons in mass. Based on gene name, canine, porcine, monkey, mouse and rat orthologs may also be found.
