Our laboratory studies T Cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (T-ALL), a cancer of developing T cells. In order to examine the composition and organization of the tumor microenvironment, our lab utilizes a wide variety of markers to identify specific cellular subsets of the tumor microenvironment. We picked this antibody for immunofluorescence imaging knowing that it would characterize the architecture of the tumor microenvironment in T-ALL in our mouse model. NFAT is a key transcription factor in T cell activation that translocates from the cytoplasm into the nucleus following T cell activation. In my experiment, I used a dot blot to confirm NFAT translocation in Jurkat cells.

Summary

The Good

My dot blot looked great!

The Bad

There is a lot more validation that could be done, but no issues I can think of.

The Bottom Line

I would try it yourself to see if it works, but I liked it.
