Anti-Interferon regulatory factor 9 antibodies are directed against the protein encoded by the gene IRF9 in humans. The gene may also be known as IRF-9, ISGF3, ISGF3G, p48, IFN-alpha-responsive transcription factor subunit, and ISGF-3 gamma. Structurally, the protein is reported to be 43.7 kilodaltons in mass. Based on gene name, canine, porcine, monkey, mouse and rat orthologs may also be found.
