The gene may also be known as CD221, IGFR, IGFIR, JTK13, IGF-I receptor, and soluble IGF1R variant 1. Structurally, the protein is reported to be 154.8 kilodaltons in mass. Based on gene name, canine, porcine, monkey, mouse and rat orthologs may also be found.
