Anti-C-C motif chemokine receptor 3 antibodies are directed against the protein encoded by the gene CCR3 in humans. The gene may also be known as CC-CKR-3, CD193, chemokine (C-C motif) receptor 3, and C-C chemokine receptor type 3. Structurally, the protein is reported to be 41 kilodaltons in mass. The CCR3 marker can be used to identify Mast Cells.* Based on gene name, plant, canine, porcine, monkey, mouse and rat orthologs may also be found.
