Anti-P21 (RAC1) activated kinase 1 antibodies are directed against the protein encoded by the gene PAK1 in humans. The gene may also be known as Paka, IDDMSSD, PAKalpha, serine/threonine-protein kinase PAK 1, and STE20 homolog, yeast. Structurally, the protein is reported to be 60.6 kilodaltons in mass. Based on gene name, canine, porcine, monkey, mouse and rat orthologs may also be found.
