Anti-Thrombomodulin antibodies are directed against the protein encoded by the gene THBD in humans. The Thrombomodulin protein has a reported amino acid length of 575 and an expected mass of 60.3 kDa. The protein may also be known as BDCA3, CD141, AHUS6, THPH12, CD141 antigen, and fetomodulin. Variants of this antigen may also be found in other species, including canine, porcine, monkey, mouse and rat.
