Anti-Large antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the Large antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the LARGE1 gene, which encodes LARGE xylosyl- and glucuronyltransferase 1. This protein is known to function in protein glycosylation, among other biological roles. The human version of Large has a canonical amino acid length of 756 residues and a protein mass of 88.1 kilodaltons, although 2 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the Golgi of cells. Large is a member of the Glycosyltransferase 49 protein family; Glycosyltransferase 8 protein family. Indicated applications for Large antibodies listed below include ELISA and Western Blot.
