Anti-Itchy E3 ubiquitin protein ligase antibodies are directed against the protein encoded by the gene ITCH in humans. The gene may also be known as ADMFD, AIF4, AIP4, NAPP1, E3 ubiquitin-protein ligase Itchy homolog, and HECT-type E3 ubiquitin transferase Itchy homolog. Structurally, the protein is reported to be 102.8 kilodaltons in mass. Based on gene name, canine, monkey, mouse and rat orthologs may also be found.
