Anti-interferon alpha 14 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein encoded by the IFNA14 gene. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 189 amino acid residues and a mass of 22.1 kDa. It is known to be a secreted protein. A member of the Alpha/beta interferon protein family, it is known to be involved with adaptive immune responses and B cell differentiation. Post-translational modifications have been described, including glycosylation. Other names for this target antigen include LEIF2H, IFN-alpha-14, interferon alpha-H, interferon lambda-2-H, leIF H, and IFN-alphaH.
