Anti-CD58 molecule antibodies are directed against the protein encoded by the gene CD58 in humans. The gene may also be known as LFA-3, LFA3, ag3, lymphocyte function-associated antigen 3, and CD58 antigen, (lymphocyte function-associated antigen 3). Structurally, the protein is reported to be 28.1 kilodaltons in mass. Based on gene name, canine, porcine and monkey orthologs may also be found.
