Anti-Adrenoceptor beta 2 antibodies are directed against the protein encoded by the gene ADRB2 in humans. The gene may also be known as B2AR, BETA2AR, ADRB2R, ADRBR, BAR, and beta-2 adrenergic receptor. Structurally, the protein is reported to be 46.5 kilodaltons in mass. Based on gene name, canine, porcine, monkey, mouse and rat orthologs may also be found.
