Anti-GT2 antibodies are protein reagents that detect specific antigens. The GT2 antigen is another term for the human protein integrin subunit beta 3, encoded by the ITGB3 gene. The protein is known to function in the apoptotic pathway and cell adhesion, among other biological roles. Canonically, it has an amino acid length of 788 residues and a mass of 87.1 kilodaltons. Its subcellular localization is in the cell membrane and it is expressed in the bone marrow. The GT2 protein is a member of the Integrin beta chain protein family. Other alias names for GT2 include BDPLT16, BDPLT2, and BDPLT24.
