Anti-UNC93A antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein unc-93 homolog A. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 457 amino acid residues and a mass of 50.3 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the cell membrane. Up to 2 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. It is reported to be expressed in the testis, small intestine, spleen, prostate and ovary. It is a member of the Unc-93 protein family. Post-translational modifications have been described, including glycosylation. Synonyms for this target antigen include dJ366N23.2, protein unc-93 homolog A, dJ366N23.1 (putative C. elegans UNC-93 (protein 1, C46F11.1) LIKE), dJ366N23.2 (putative C. elegans UNC-93 (protein 1, C46F11.1) C-terminal LIKE), and dJ366N23.1. UNC93A gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species. ELISA is a widely used application for the UNC93A antibodies listed below. In addition, Western Blot is also a common application.
