Anti-CD210 antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target CD210 is a known alias name of the protein interleukin 10 receptor subunit alpha, encoded by the IL10RA gene in humans. This 578-amino acid residue protein is a reported cell surface receptor for the cytokine IL10 that participates in IL10-mediated anti-inflammatory functions, limiting excessive tissue disruption caused by inflammation. It is localized to the cell membrane and cytoplasm of the cell and features glycosylated, ubiquitinated and phosphorylated post-translational modifications. In terms of tissue expression, it is notably expressed in hematopoetic cells including B-cells, T-cells, NK cells, monocytes and macrophages. Other synonyms for CD210 include CD210a and CDW210A. Western Blot is a widely used application for the CD210 antibodies listed below. In addition, ELISA is also a common application.
