Anti-ISG15 ubiquitin like modifier antibodies are directed against the protein encoded by the gene ISG15 in humans. The gene may also be known as IGI15, Irfp, G1P2, IFI15, IMD38, IP17, and ubiquitin-like protein ISG15. Structurally, the protein is reported to be 17.9 kilodaltons in mass. Based on gene name, canine, porcine, monkey, mouse and rat orthologs may also be found.
