Anti-CD15 antibodies are protein reagents that detect specific antigens. The CD15 antigen is another term for the human protein fucosyltransferase 4, encoded by the FUT4 gene. The protein is known to function in carbohydrate metabolism and homeostasis and inflammatory response pathways, among other biological roles. Canonically, it has an amino acid length of 530 residues and a mass of 59.1 kilodaltons. Its subcellular localization is in the Golgi and it is expressed in the rectum, cerebellum, and bone marrow. The CD15 protein is a member of the Glycosyltransferase 10 protein family. Other alias names for CD15 include ELFT.
