The Good
Great detection using a high dilution
The Bottom Line
The Anti-GLUT1 antibody is an excellent choice for visualizing the cerebral vasculature in rat brain, providing robust labeling of both major vessels and the capillary network. Its high specificity, compatibility with multiplex assays such as RNAscope®, and widespread validation make it a reliable marker for studies of brain vascular architecture and the blood–brain barrier. However, because GLUT1 expression can vary with disease state, it is best interpreted as a BBB endothelial marker rather than a universal indicator of vascular abundance.
