My research focuses on understanding the biology of bacterial cell wall hydrolases, where I generate gene deletion mutants to understand their roles in cell growth, division, and cell envelope biology. I also construct complementation plasmids to restore mutant phenotypes, and I used this plasmid miniprep kit to isolate plasmid DNA and screen positive clones during plasmid construction.
