Results Summary

In the SH-SY5Y cell study with beta-amyloid or isolated mitochondria treatment, the pIRF-3 antibody (#4947S) consistently exhibited reliability and specificity. At a 1:1000 dilution in 5% BSA TBST, it effectively detected p-IRF3 expression, with a notable decrease in the group treated with isolated mitochondria. The Western blot, involving overnight incubation at 4°C and a 3-hour room temperature incubation with a secondary antibody (1:1000 dilution), produced distinct bands. This adaptable antibody is valuable in neurodegenerative research, particularly in studying the cGAS-STING pathway. It is recommended to use it with total IRF-3 protein to assess the ratio. Notably, p-IRF3 signifies phosphorylated interferon regulatory factor 3, indicating its involvement in cellular responses to pathogens and potential significance in neurodegenerative processes.
