Results Summary

This probe is able to detect Oprm1 mRNA in mouse brain samples (we tested in medial prefrontal cortex, hippocampus, caudate putamen, nucleus accumbens, and the ventral tegmental area. Note that this probe was used in combination with BaseScope Duplex Reagent Kit (chromogenic assay). Validated on knockout mice. Image: Oprm1 individual mRNA puncta surrounded by Aldh1 mRNA punctum (blue). Brain tissue was additionally stained with 50% Gill’s hematoxylin 1.
