Inflammation in brain endothelial cells is measured during viral respiratory infection in mice. Zombie Green viability dye was used to exclude dead cells from analysis.

Zombie Green viability dye works very well to identify dead cells by flow cytometry. Dead cells are FITC+ and there is very little overlap with other channels.
