Transcription factor NF-kB which is present in the cytosol are in inactive state by IκB complex proteins. Once it activated by the phosphorylation of IκBα at Ser32 and Ser36 followed by proteasome-mediated degradation that results in the release and nuclear translocation of active NF-κB. Followed by IκBα phosphorylation and resulting Rel-dependent activation of extracellular signals including inflammatory cytokines, growth factors, and chemokines. Here we checked the time course of IκBα expression by chemoattractant.
