Anti-IKB alpha antibodies detect the protein encoded by the gene NFKBIA, or 'NFKB inhibitor alpha' in humans. The 317-amino acid protein is a member of the NF-kappa-B inhibitor family. The cellular localization is predicted to be cytoplasmic and nuclear.
