Many cell lines require glutamine supplementation in media, but it spontaneously degrades over time. The GlutaMax supplement has enhanced stability in culture and will achieve more consistent nutrient availability.

Unlike L-glutamine that will break down over time, the GlutaMAX supplement will only be consumed when metabolized by cells and can remain stably in solution for long periods of time. it can also be stored at room temperature, so there is no need to freeze aliquots. otherwise this product can be treated as equivalent to L-glutamine for cell culture purposes.
