I tried to use this to determine if my cells secreted sAPP-alpha in different amounts in response to a stimulus. I concentrated the cell media and then ran for western blotting. I did not see a clear band, but instead a smear at the top. I think the antibody worked, but the concentrated media did not allow the proteins to properly run through the gel.
