I use this enzyme to remove plasmid template after PCR, before the cloning step. Cloning works very well this way.

I remove plamid template before every cloning reaction.
I incubate the PCR products with 5 µL of RCutSmart and 1 µL of DPNI at 37°C for half an hour, then I remove the enzyme and DNA fragments with a purification kit. It works very well.
