We infected B6 mice with Mouse Cetamegalovirus and used the anti-KLRG1 antibody to analyze the Natural Killer cells in the infected mice's blood using FACS analysis. We did this to detect if they had been successfully infected because it is well known that KLRG1 expression is up-regulated on NK cells during MCMV infection.

Our flow analysis revealed very clear results with the majority of the Natural Killers cells in our analysis portraying high expression of KLRG1. We saw little to no background staining from the antibody.
The results were specific and reproducible.
Only useful for FACS.
Although we did have to use a low dilution for the antibody, it revealed a very clear signal. I would definitely recommend.
