The detection of integrin α4 is not common among flow cytometry labs; however, in my lab we use it regularly. It (CD49d) has been found to be a prognostic marker for chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL). The cutoff is usually 40%. Higher percentage is considered positive and correlates with poor prognosis.

The results look really good. Compare our data in the image provided to that of the manufacturer, and you see that they are almost identical! Staining is strong and clear.
Good staining. Clearly positive on positive cells.
High spillover into neighboring channels.
The antibody is good - a bit too expensive, but is one that our lab will continue to buy and use.
