To induce EMT for BT20 cells, 20 ng/ml EGF was administered for incubation of 72 h. The cells were collected for fractionation using NE-PER Nuclear and Cytoplasmic Extraction Reagents (78833). The expression levels of Smad3 (cat #9523) was examined to demonstrated for the distribution of the target Smad3. The results showed that Smad3 was primarily located in nuclear fractions.
