STIM1 is a ubiquitously expressed highly conserved protein. It regulates the Ca2+ sensor of endoplasmic reticulum that shifts from the ER Ca2+ store to the plasma membrane, which inturn activates the calcium-release-activated calcium channels when the ER Ca2+ store is low. STIM1 also acts as a tumor suppressor, dysregulation of STIM1 may cause rhabdomyosarcoma and rhabdoid tumors. Here we checked the time course effect of STIM1 expression by chemoattractant.

We performed western blot and detect, analyzed the STIM1 expression. We found that there is no increase of STIM1 protein expression by chemoattractant.

This antibody works great for western blot.
This antibody is highly specific and the signal is very strong. Highly recommended.
