We are interested in studying a class of novel circulating peptides. Preliminary data indicate some peptides may have roles in modulating neuronal functions. So we use this fluorescent Ca2+ indicator to test the peptides' potential functions in elicting Ca2+ spikes in neurons and this indicator works well.
