Regulatory T cells (T-reg) have become central in the follow-up of patients whose immune system is disturbed. To identify T-reg cells, CD127 is very important. It is typically expressed at low or negative levels, therefore it is very important to find an antibody that allows such fine resolution. We tested this PE-Cy7 conjugate from BD.

Results Summary

The results as shown in the histogram are OK. There are two distinct peaks (positive and negative) but the separation is not total, as expected. T-reg cells would fall in the negative/dim peak(s). Although the antibody performed well on its own, the key is how it works in combination with the other T-reg markers. Our testing showed that it was acceptable (data not displayed).
