Data are good. I used SMAD as my control of pSMAD/SMAD pathway. Cells were stimulated with TGF-b in starvation medium. Our research is focused on the SMAD pathway that regulates a diverse set of biological processes, including proliferation, differentiation and apoptosis, in many different organ systems. TGF-ß ligands that activate the SMAD-2/3 intracellular pathway have been heavily implicated in fibrosis.
