The aim of our experiments is to look for the macrophages marker CD206. The macrophage mannose receptor (CD206) is a C-type lectin expressed predominantly by most tissue macrophages and endothelial cells. It functions in endocytosis and phagocytosis. In our experimental aortic constructed mice heart and lung, both tissues were immunostained for CD206. Expression increased compared to WT control mice and the signal is working very well.
