Flow cytometry using CellTrace stain
PBMCs were cultured for 3 days in wells coated with anti-CD3 or in uncoated wells, compared to freshly purified cells. This anti-CD3 antibody provides signal 1 for T cell activation, with signal 2 coming from the antigen presenting cell populations in the PBMCs. By staining cells with CellTrace prior to culturing, rounds of division can be observed in the stimulated cells. This clone is reliable for inducing T cell activation and proliferation.
