Identifying lambda-restricted B cells is critical in the diagnosis of B cell malignancies. The selection of anti-light chain specific antibodies needs to be done carefully. We chose this antibody because it is recommended by other scientists.

Results Summary

Results show good staining on B cells that express the lambda light chain of immunoglobulins. The rest of the lymphocytes appear (as they should be) negative. Very little nonspecific staining is seen.

Summary

The Good

Strong staining. Specific. Monoclonal.

The Bad

Need 20uL per test.

The Bottom Line

This is a good antibody. It shows specific staining, but is needed at 20uL per test. This is a bit too much, and other antibodies may produce the same results using lesser volumes.
