Product Name:

CD19-ECD

Catalog Number:

IM2708U

Clone Number:

J3-119

The identification of B cells can be done using a variety of antibodies, but CD19 is arguably the best and most universal. We used this antibody for lineage definition and because the fluorochrome (ECD) fitted our extended panel.

Results Summary

The antibody produced a strong, clean signal on B cells allowing good and easy gating (as shown in the figure). Subsequent gating allowed for the identification of other markers on these cells. Compensation into the PE and PC5 channels was a little high, but effective. There were no major issues with the antibody.

Summary

The Good

Resolution of B cells is very good.

The Bad

Pricy, and needs a lot of compensation into nearby channels.

The Bottom Line

This is a good antibody that performed as expected. The signal was clean, and we did not experience any background on non-B cells.
