I use this kit to do gel extraction when doing cloning for various projects. I was able to get purified DNA fragment and successful cloning results.

Need to do extra wash to get better purity
I got purified DNA with good OD ratios. The recovery of amount of DNA is not perfect but enough for next step experiments
Good quality
Lose quite a bit of DNA during the process
I would recommend this kit for gel extraction purification of DNA when doing cloning.
