I purchased this product as a mitochondria marker. It gives nice mitochondria pattern in live cell imaging and also it lasts for very long. I aliquoted the reagent upon receiving.

This dye works both for live cell and after fixation
The excitation and emission wavelengths are very similar to TMR dye,given the molecular structures are quite similar except the carboxyl group. So I applied the same laser and emission filter set as I use for TMR. The overall emission efficiency a bit low due to the filter not optimally set for 576nm, but it works okay.
