A plasmid was linearized and target genes were amplified by PCR. For the next step (Gibson Assembly) these fragments were purified through the Kit.

Before applying this kit, you should run a gel to check if there are any additional bands besides your desired product.
The extracted DNA content is much higher than doing a gel extraction. Here you only need to start a one PCR tube for one reaction. If using the gel you would need to start 8 to reach enough DNA content.
