This antibody was used in a set of experiments that were performed to determine the relative proportion of T cell subsets by staining whole blood samples and analyzing by flow cytometry. This antibody was used to identify cells in the CD4+ T cell lineage. This antibody easily resolved CD4+ T cells from CD4- lymphocyte populations.

This antibody worked very well in flow cytometry to identify CD4+ T cells. CD4+ T lymphocytes were easily resolved from other major T cell subsets when stained in combination with an antibody against CD8.
