The CD45 is a membrane protein marker forlymphocyte, leukocyte, neutrophil, etc. I have studied to select CD45 positive cells by flow cytometry. I have labelled my PMBC from CD45-FITC conjugated antibody from Beckman coulter. It was a nice results.

This CD45-FITC is absent in erythrocytes and platelets. So it reacts with leucocyte progenitors in bone marrow. Therefore, I was able to differentiate Leukocytes from platelets and erythrocytes. It was a good antibody

This conjugated antibody easy to standardized and it works pretty well for all cell types including PBMC. I recommend to use for Leucocyte selection by Flow.
