I have used Vectashield Antifade Mounting Media with DAPI for immunofluorescence experiment. This mounting media has antifade and DAPI. Because of this quality of fluorescence does not fade for a longer period. I have took images after a month with same specificity and high quality.

Seal coverslips perimeter with nail polish for longer storage. Inhibit fading and photobleaching of most fluorophores, dyes, fluorescent proteins, and stains. DAPI in the medium is an additional advantages.
