Product Name:

ACSS1 Antibody

Catalog Number:

sc-377149

Clone Number:

D-7

Our lab was interested in looking at the acetate level of ACSS1 intake of cells with or without drug treatment on western blot. We used this antibody to probe for ACSS1 and saw that the levels are different with varying treatments.

Summary

The Good

Easy to use and price was low

The Bad

Multiple bands on western blot

The Bottom Line

Useful if you already know the size of the protein and can distinguish between the bands due to multiple nonspecific bands. It was bright and easy to use in addition to the cost of the antibody being on the lower end.
