We were interested in looking at the enzymatic activity of PGI since our lab is interested in looking at cancer metabolism. The enzymatic activity difference between non-treated T cells and tumors cells versus our glutamine antagonist drug.

Skip the part where the protocol suggests doing the ammonium sulfate precipitation method.
Our samples were not able to pellet after we attempted to reduce small molecules with the ammonium sulfate precipitation. We lost most of our sample; therefore, proceeding thru the assay was difficult.
