The easiest cell proliferation/cytotoxicity reagent I have used. Rapid, sterile, and low-variability measurement of NADH levels in living cells that allows for repeat measurements and hence paired statistical testing.

The reagent is added into 96-well plates and allowed to incubate for 1–3 hours. Absorbance is measured on a plate reader, then the media can be replaced and the cells will continue growing, ready for a read the following day.
Reagent can be diluted 1:5 and still works well.
Measures NADH as a proxy for viability.
