Our lab routinely stores biological samples at -80 and below. We typically flash freeze our samples with liquid nitrogen to preserve the cellular state as quickly as possible. This vessel does a great job storing liquid nitrogen, so we can readily access it whenever we need it. It holds 10L of liquid nitrogen, and it is very easy to pour into a container for freezing but also fill up.

The liquid nitrogen company will fill up the vessel once a week. We will pour the needed amount into a small container for flash freezing of samples.
We fill our vessel up once a week due to usage but do check on levels if not used often enough.
